Lead Inspection and Abatement


Lead exposure is an issue in many homes and commercial buildings today. We will inspect and safely remediate any lead-containing materials using state-of-the-art technology and professional service.

Lead Inspection / Risk Assessor

Paul Katchadourian is licensed by the California Department of Public Health as a Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor. This qualifies Katch to provide lead inspections on buildings, soil, and water. Katch Environmental has its own XRF, or X-ray fluorescence analyzer to test for lead-based paint without damaging the surface. If a child is determined to have elevated lead levels in his/her blood, Katch can do a risk assessment to determine the source of lead poisoning. License #I-18299

Lead Project Monitor:

Paul Katchadourian is licensed by the California Department of Public Health as a Lead Project Monitor. This license allows Katch to monitor the site for the owner of the building to ensure all lead abatement laws are being followed. License #M-18299

Lead Supervisor:

Paul Katchadourian is licensed by the California Department of Public Health as a Lead Supervisor. Every lead abatement job must have a Lead Supervisor to be in charge of a lead abatement. License #S-18299

Lead Workers:

All Katch Employees must be and are licensed by the California Department of Public Health as a Lead Worker.
