Job Description

As a Project Engineer at Katch Environmental, you will be an integral part of our growing team, responsible for overseeing and managing various projects from inception to completion. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring project success within budget, scope, and timeline constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with internal team members, including engineering, procurement, and operations teams, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to identify potential project challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Prepare project documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports, and maintain accurate records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to achieve project milestones efficiently.
  • Monitor and report project progress, identifying deviations from plans and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout project execution.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (5-10 years) in project engineering or management within civil/environmental industry.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools/software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Problem-solving abilities with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
